Coach Peter is owner of British Swim Academy and has been involved in swimming over 35 years. He has been a Swimming Instructor to Professional Athletes, Celebrities and over a thousand children in Los Angeles. Peter provides private & semi-private swimming lessons to home pools in Bel Air. Also at Bel Air residents community pools in Bel Air Crest, Bel Air Ridge and Bel Air Glen.

Children’s Swimming Lessons

“Your Child Water-Safe in 8 Lessons” with Coach Peter, Masters World Record Holder.

He utilizes the swim-float-swim technique in his popular learn-to-swim program. In 8 lessons he focuses on providing your child with pool safety, confidence & ability to swim to safety if they fall into water.

For children already Water-Safe Peter takes them through the British Swim Academy syllabus. These classes take students from beginning stages of swimming to learning all 4 strokes, turns, diving & competitive swimming.

Peter has a gentle & encouraging approach to teaching. He understands how to motivate your child & make learning to swim fun as well.

Pricing for Lessons

Private (one-on-one) lessons for all children and adults at your home pool start at $150 per hour. 30 minute class is a possible option at your community pool. Price varies depending on distance to location and package of lessons purchased. Payment form is cash or check.

Semi Private (2 students at the same time) for all children and adults at your home pool start at $225 per hour. 30 minute class is a possible option at your community pool. Price varies depending on distance to location and package of lessons purchased. Lesson price is a flat rate and divided between students. Payment form is cash or check. Students must be water safe, similar in age & abilities.

Policies

Scheduling

  • All scheduling or cancellations must be done by text.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made by 6pm the night before or you will be charged for that session.

  • No makeup classes for cancellations due to weather.

Payment Policy and Options

  • We require a cash or check payment before package of lessons start. Your payment reserves your place in lessons.

Swim Diaper Policy (Infant / Toddlers)

  • Cloth, reusable swim diapers are required for ALL students under the age of 3, even those who are potty-trained. Swim diapers must have tight-fitting elastic around the legs and waist to prevent accidents. We do allow disposable swim diapers under the cloth diaper if you choose to use two diapers.
